January 19, 2010 – 12:15 pmFonti interne mi riportano che la maggior parte dei cinesi (intendo quelli in Cina) non sa nulla della scaramuccia avvenuta tra Google e il loro governo. In pratica il governo cinese è riuscito a censurare che Google non censura più, e che per questo è anche disposto a lasciare il paese.

beside, on chinese newspaper and media, they said google leave china mainly becoz google want china to give them more $$, and chinese government do not want to share a larger portion of search engine to google. in China, the most popular search engine is called Baidu (www.baidu.com), which, the design is copied from google (obviously), and is a good child in the eyes of chinese government. 70% ppl use Baidu, only 30% use the others (google + yahoo). That’s y chinese gov’t want to direct ppl’s attention from attacking human right to profit $$ issue.
